How It Works

What exactly is Not Just Another Day?

It's a one-time digital gift that delivers a themed message to someone's inbox every morning for a full year — 365 days. You pay once, choose a theme, and the recipient gets a thoughtful message each day.

How do I give the gift?

Choose a theme, enter the recipient's email address, and complete a single payment. We take care of the rest — they'll receive 365 daily messages starting on the date you choose.

When does delivery start?

You choose the first delivery date during checkout — as soon as tomorrow, or any future date (their birthday, Mother's Day, graduation day, etc.). Daily messages begin on the date you selected. The first message introduces the gift.

Can I schedule it for a future date — like a birthday?

Yes — you choose the first delivery date during checkout. You can set it to tomorrow, a week from now, or any future date like their birthday, graduation day, or Mother's Day. Messages will begin arriving on the morning you choose.

Themes & Messages

What themes are available?

We currently offer 19 themes across wellness, parenting, learning, spiritual, and lifestyle categories — including Meditation, Gratitude, Dad Jokes, Bible Verses, Yoga Pose of the Day, and more. Browse all themes on our homepage.

What does a daily message look like?

Each message is short and meaningful — a quote, a prompt, a joke, an activity, or a word of the day, depending on the theme. They're designed to be read in under a minute, right at the start of the day.

Who writes the messages?

Messages are carefully curated and reviewed to ensure they're thoughtful, appropriate, and genuinely worth reading every day for a year.

Can I preview what the messages look like?

Yes — each theme page shows sample messages so you can get a feel for the content before you buy.

Can I choose more than one theme?

Each gift covers one theme. If you'd like to give multiple themes, you can purchase them separately for the same or different recipients.

Delivery & Email

What time are messages delivered?

Messages are sent in the morning, typically between 7–9am in the recipient's local time zone.

What if the recipient doesn't have email?

Currently email is the only delivery method. SMS delivery is coming soon.

What if messages go to spam?

We recommend the recipient add our sending address to their contacts after the first message arrives. If messages are going to spam, they can mark them as 'Not Spam' and that usually resolves it.

Can the recipient change their email address?

Yes — the recipient can update their delivery preferences by contacting us at help@notjustanother.day.

Pricing & Payment

Is this a subscription?

No. It's a single one-time payment. There are no recurring charges, no auto-renewals, and nothing to cancel.

What happens after 365 days?

The gift simply ends. No charges, no renewal. If you'd like to continue, you can purchase a new gift.

Do you offer refunds?

Because this is a digital product that begins delivering immediately, we generally cannot offer refunds once messages have started. If something went wrong or the gift was not delivered, contact us at help@notjustanother.day and we'll make it right.

The Recipient

Does the recipient need to create an account?

No. The recipient just needs an email address. There's nothing to sign up for, download, or install.

Can the recipient opt out?

Yes. Every message includes an unsubscribe link. If the recipient opts out, we'll stop sending messages.

Can I gift this to myself?

Absolutely — just use your own email as the recipient. Many people choose a theme for their own daily reading.
